They are all surplus parts from M1 carbines picked up at gunshows with an m4 bayonet reproduction..

The bayonet lug/barrel band is tricky, you have to un-rivet one side, bend it open and then slide it on and bend it closed. I epoxied the lug back in place but may see if I can have someone weld it...

I also shaped the stock to take a carbine butt plate as well..

It has adjustable Tech sights and an SKS sling.

That M1 10-22 is awesome. Cool

I dont have a picture but am strangely attracted to the "Walmart" green/grey laminate stocks they sold years ago. My first gun purchase over 10 years ago.

I probably will buy another 10/22 in the next year.

Better stock up on Butler Creek steel lip mags, they seem to go up every year!

10/22 target

Here's my stock for now 10/22 Target model. She shoots Wolf Match target the best but also likes the Lapua.

Does anyone have a gun with all the VQ goodies I can check out? I wanna pimp mine out abit but not sure exactly which I would like to start with. I'm fairly happy with the factory trigger but the rest of the stuff I'm interested in.

It's just a cheap Tasco Olympic model or something to that affect. It's got an adjustable Objective and is surprisingly good for a Tasco. She's boringly accurate at 50 yrds. I think I might stretch her out to 100 next time I go to Hap Baker.

Just a plain jane walmart carbine. Extended bolt handle, extended mag release, bolt hold open. $20 3-9x scope from midway. 25 round ramline mag, i think. Its fun and accurate as is. I can shoot all afternoon for $13.

ETA: Its wearing a see through scope mount in this picture. I dropped the whole rifle at the frostbite shoot and the mount screws stripped out. I retapped new holes, and now it wears the factory ruger mount.
