Reviews of that particular mount led me away from it. A Warne XSKEL Gen 2 should fit the budget and be solid, though you'll want to tighten the ring tops quite well.

I believe I bought a QD version on amazon.com for under $100 for one of my ARs.If you don't want qd then the Burris Pepr mount is fine or the Vortex.

No problem. I see the standard mounts for around $80 on Amazon.com. I'm sure you'll be happy with what you get. (fellow 6.8er here).I have no desire for a QD on this rifle. Just looking for a standard mount. But thank you.
What negative things did you read? I saw a few posts about them snapping.
Weaver makes a pretty decent offset 30mm scope mount. Very solid and not QD.
I have the Burris PEPR but honestly, the PA mount will probably serve you well. Anyways - here's what my rig looks like.
Armalite makes both 1" and 30 mm one piece scope mounts.
Good luck

It's a question of weight vs durability. The PEPRs and Weavers are, to me, a good compromise.
I just purchased a strike eagle as well. It comes with that vortex mount for free, although I think it's the one manufactured in China. Who knew mounts could be so expensive?!
I went with the KDG SIDELOK 30MM Mount
