4 packs of beer, pizza, wings, 2 sets of movers straps, maybe a few cigars, and 3 friends.

Or you can hire a safe mover to move it to your new destination.

Not sure where you're located but I've had a number of clients (I'm in real estate part time) use Advanced Security Safe & Lock in Reisterstown.. all have had a positive experience.

Someone who sells safes can usually move them. Hire a pro, money well spent, especially if steps are involved.

I just moved my Browning Medallion in June. Not easy or fun.

First and foremost, take off that door! (If possible). The door on my safe lifted straight off the hinges when door is at 90°.

I rented a climbing dolly from Rentals Unlimited, cost $65. Its a hairy contraption with 1.5" little pucks doing all the lifting.

I worked with my movers to get the thing out. I have a video somewhere of the beast going down the basement steps at our new place.

Probably cost me 3-400 in labor and the rental. Hope i never have to do that again.

Zanotti Armor is delivering my modular safe this month. I had to leave my Sturdy in the basement of my last house...never again. Not for everybody but I move every 5-10 years.

We use something like these to move 10ton pieces of equipment all day long and barely break a sweat.
