Thank you!
I'm gonna take a WAG and say you're probably not using your phone to take pics, right? I'm pretty basic with composition but, the lighting in your pics is always superb. How do you do it? Natural light? Filtered artificial light? I always struggle with either too much reflection or too much contrast that has to be tweaked after the fact. Once again, well done, sir. You're eroding my resistance to SA revolvers one pic at a time!
well don't change a thing what your doing is working great I took a class once never really followed up i was young and starting a family and home. I was trying double exposures I found them fascinating tripod shutter cable and paddle to cover the lens between exposures mostly fourth of July night shots all lost in a flood . sorry for the high jack revolver peepsI have an entry Canon body, the SL1. I have the two lenses it came with and one mid level Macro. Pretty much every picture you see I do in a high dynamic range which is something I read about and figured out. This is done by taking three identical pictures (using a tripod and two second timer to avoid any finger shake on the trigger). I take them typically at a -2 , 0 , +2 exposures. Then you take those files and throw them through a program called photomatix and it merges all three pictures to one. It takes all the Range in color from the various exposures and gives you a rich, true to eye, picture. I always use natural light. Cloudy is always better too. Then I use a program called Lightroom. I simply increase/decrease variables rather than edit a picture to something it wasn't originally. Does that make sense?
