so looking into getting a S&W 150712 or 164198 686 plus one is talo wood-grips and the other i believe to be same but rubber grips. Have any MDS members had any issues with them.Comments and suggestions please
My 686+ has the best trigger of all the guns I own. It’s a great, solid gun.
Rubber. You can shoot it if you want.
My 686+ has been great. No issues. Came with the rubber grips but I switched them out for wood.

Yeah, I might be a broken record on this… But I always encourage someone to try to grab the classic 686, pre-2000 for the history that goes with it.
Even if you drop down to a six shooter, I still think having a more collectible Smith and Wesson is cool
Took my 586 out today for a little fun. I could not agree with you more.
