I'm looking for places to get upper build kits. Some place that I can get everything to build the upper assembly. I already have the tools and have pulled a couple apart and built one from misc parts.
Looking to do a 300blk. next from individual parts. Not sure if I want a kit or to pick them out separately.
EDIT:I am not interested in a complete assembled upper. I want to do the build. That's part of the fun.

I don't mean to state the obvious, but have you googled AR15 upper parts kit?

Yes and maybe my google fu is not using the right wording but many times I'm not getting what I want. I'm either getting fully assembled or just the upper assembly.

I'm looking for upper assembly, barrel, handguard, gas block & parts and brake.
Only lead I get is deltateamtactical but the don't have a good reputation.

AR Stoner makes a very nice stainless steel 300blk barrel.

DPMS and Aero Precision make good uppers and the bits that go into them.

Midway USA is a great company as well. They carry both AR Stoner and DPMS.

Checked Hanover Armory or Worth a Shot? Been to both recently and both had alot of uppers and parts. I ended up buying a complete upper from Hanover. Was very happy with what I got.

google is your friend, I am not.
Honestly, I'd say mix and match. You'll like some of the parts in a kit, but dislike others, and end up replacing them anyway. My last one I got some parts from Wilson Combat, some from Midway, some from Brownells... very happy with the result. IMO its more important to pick the parts you want like the right barrel, free float upper, etc.

Check Gundeals.com for items on sale at lots of different vendors. It is not difficult to find good pricing on things presently.

Go to 2A Sales. They have everything you need.

With uppers, you usually buy it complete or buy the parts ala carte. I don't think I've ever seen an upper parts kit.

I think the title I wrote was missing the word -KIT at the end.
As stated in my Original Post, I was looking for a place that had the parts all in one kit, but I think the path as suggested to just a la carte the parts is best.
I do like Joe Bobs, but I may need to find a part or two elsewhere.

You may find complete rifle build kits that don’t include the lower. Complete upper? Probably not.

Most upper parts kits are just for the receiver. Get one, an upper receiver, Barrel, gas tube, gas block, handguard and a barrel and done.
