For everyone who has built an AR15 style pistol, is this the firearm's final configuration or are you eventually going to go the SBR route? I think if I build a 5.56 pistol, it will only be a pistol for as long as it takes for the Form 1 comes back.

    Your thoughts?

At this point in time in MD, I am waiting... I built my AR pistols, including the lowers, so there is no 'record' of them and I think I will keep it that way as long as I live in MD. A Sig Brace'd pistol makes a very effective weapon! ;)

Just curious, if your building a pistol, what good are rifle sights? Now I know that some will use the Sigtac brace to shoulder fire their pistol at times, but with the shortened LOP, do you find you can focus on the rear sight enough to get a good sight picture?

The KAK SB15 tube, with adjustable spacers, allows you to replicate everything from a carbine stock in the second position all the way out to an A2 fixed stock.

Traditional sights can be every bit as useful on an AR "pistol" as they are on a rifle.

You can get a good cheek weld on a phase 5 pistol buffer tube without a sig brace.

Outstanding! I think I want to do that to my last pre 10/1 engage lower. I'm sure it's loud as hell, but does it cycle 100%? Do you use the sig brace as a brace or a short stock?

Haven't had a chance to test fire it yet. Trying it as a brace felt really weird, i would probably just shoulder the thing.
