If you're at all interested in applying for and getting your Maryland "Wear and Carry" permit this seminar is invaluable to help you better understand the process, what's involved and most importantly how to effectively deal with the MSP as you go through the process. The pace is fast, fun and highly informative. Definitely 5-stars!

Thanks Michael and Kevin for the kind words.

Once you take this seminar, you will know more about Maryland Handgun Permits than most citizens and many Maryland State Troopers.

Then, you can go and take the required proficiency certification from BPSafe or Dukes Defense!

What is a "Certified Regulated Handgun Instructor"?

    Ragnar,

Thank you for asking "What is a "Certified Regulated Handgun Instructor?"

A Certified Regulated Handgun Instructor is someone authorized to teach the Maryland Handgun Qualification Course.
To learn why we purposefully use the term regulated, click here.

CypherPunk knows his way thru the Maryland permitting scheme.
I recommend this course. Matter of fact I will recommend any course he is involved with. His knowledge of the system is priceless. Once you take his course he will continue to answer questions and offer advice. CypherPunk:thumbsup:

Unless something is exceptional, I usually don't "bump" a thread. This is an exceptional seminar and I too will recommend and ENDORSE it to anyone who is looking to get their Wear/ Carry permit in Maryland. Great information and Cypher takes the guess-work out of the application process.

How many people have actually got their permit because of the class?

Not trying to be a downer but I have yet to meet a permit holder in this state who didn't have restrictions that pretty much defeat the purpose of carry.

I have no possibility of getting a carry permit, so is this a worthwhile class anyway as far as the knowledge gained?

The essence of knowledge is, having it, to apply it; not having it, to confess your ignorance.

There is no magic formula, but I think the posts herein speak to the quality, and content of this seminar.
Again, I am donating 100% of the proceeds to the IWLA Youth Group to promote young hunters, shooting and conservation.
