Senate Bill SB 281 will have a bill hearing on Wednesday, Feb 6 at 1 pm in the Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee.
Should you wish to testify on any of the gun bills plan to be in Annapolis early that day so you can sign in between 9 am and noon. You should definitely be there as early as possible.
Plan on being there all day and evening. The hearing will go late into the night. I anticipate that ALL gun bills will heard at the same time in one massive hearing on Feb 6.
This is what I'm hearing: Each person testifying will be given approximately 3 minutes to speak on all of the bills. It is unlikely that there will be separate hearings on each individual bill. I anticipate that the chairman will say "tell me what you like or don't like about each bill you wish to testify on."
We will be working non-stop to defeat the Governor's bills. Thank you for fighting the good fight with those of us who support the Second Amendment.
