    Very nice! Can't believe someone would paint an original 1911 like that.:sad20:

    I got it for a good price and figured the collector's value was nil even though it had early 1943 parts. To add insult to injury someone had nickel plated parts of it before someone else painted it. The least I could do was give it back some of its dignity.
