I’m a believer in sons products after putting the time into researching them. I was being sarcastic. Also- you got those bcg at a steal at the price you paid in November.

I wish I could afford something from solgw. Their “base rifle” quickly turns into a serious Gucci ar without even checking many option boxes. 1,500 dollars gets you what a lot of folks would consider a base model ar-15 parts list. ( yes I realize the difference in quality, just making mention). If I had the money, I’d surely buy one without batting an eye.

I bought all SOLGW parts and built my own SOLGW rifle.

    Things that aren't SOLGW:

    1. AR-15 Barrel: Colt SOCOM ($350)
    2. Buffer tube: VLTOR A5 ($120)
    3. Gas Tube: V Seven Extreme ($80)
    4. Castle Nut: Primary Arms ($30)
    5. Grip: hogue ($30)
    6. Muzzle Break: Voodoo ($50)
    7. MWI 7” handguard ($120)

    SOLGW Parts:

    Receiver combo: $200
    Upper Kit: $30
    Lower Kit: $85
    BCG: $110

    Total build cost: $1205

    Labor: $0 (self assembled)

You've got a few interesting choices, IMHO:
    1. SOLGW BCG. Nothing special, but it has QC, which is worth paying for.
    2. Bootleg Adjustable BCG. If you're trying to run suppressed and don't have an adjustable BCG, this is a pretty decent option for reducing gas blowback. (Bootleg = PWS, which is quality.)
    3. Surefire Optimized BCG. This is the true gucci option with its own buffer setup, but they've made some changes that I think make a lot of sense. Really shines in a full-auto setup.

Come on man, if your opinion is worth 2 cents, surly your labor is worth that much!

True story. Chad is not a fan of yfs fasteners, so you know what side to chose lol

Geissele on the other hand is asking an awful lot of money for their “enhanced “ bcg. It’s like double what their standard bcg costs. Makes the sons and bcm bcg seem like a steal lol

Y'all are funny. Primary Arms got some Spike's Tactical BCGs in stock so I ordered one. I'll be keeping the PSA as a spare, assuming I get it in this lifetime.
