Are we allowed to have socom profile barrels?

It's a heavy short barrel. You can pin and weld a muzzle device to achieve 16". It will be a legal barrel in Md.

Do you happen to know if solgw offers any Maryland legal barrels on their rifles ?

I have never seen a SOLGW rifle that complies with Maryland’s idiocy.

They use ballistic advantage barrels, though, so in theory you could build a comparable MD complaint upper using SOLGW hand guards and other bits. BA makes a few HBARS.

    Please enlighten me...

This gets talked about a lot.

There are lots of less than favorable reviews for radical firearms out there on the web. Look them up.

I’ve personally rebuilt one for a friend and I was not impressed.

They are a basic assembly shop using the cheapest available parts from lord knows what OEM’s and then selling them for more than they’re worth.

The only reason they have any relevancy today is because of how hard it was to find quality AR’s during the pandemic. Shops turned to them so they’d have something, anything to keep on the shelves.

Radical is squarely below Anderson in my book. It’s really bottom of the barrel.

Most Md'rs who buy SOLGW buy PCC uppers, from what I have gleaned from these pages.

    Add pinned gas block

    Add gas tube

    Add phosphate BCG

    https://bravocompanyusa.com/bcm-upp...eedramps-complete-unassembled-demo-scratched/

BCM “blem” stripped upper - better than most any other stripped upper you can get your hands on for $90.

    A2 flash hider - $8

    Basic mlok handguard

Not a good one but on par with the one on the radical

Adding it up and we’re at $498. So $50 off but much, much better than that radical crap. Granted, you have to assemble it yourself.

Not yet, you haven't answered me.
Lets look at what they offer...
    Mid length, H-Bar, $449.99
You have not shown me why not.
You have told me what you heard, and you have shown me more expensive ideas.

    Product A, B and C cost $100
They offer features 1, 2 and 3 for this price.

    Product X costs $40
Product X offers features 1, 2 and 3 for this price.

Somewhere in this math problem you must cut costs to offer the same product. You can use lower grade materials, lower grade manufacturing, lower QC/QA because rejected Product is Product you'll never see ROI for.

This math problem applies nearly universally. Your money not mine, spend it as you see fit

Just keep in mind that BA barrels built for SOLGW are spec'd differently. They are also QC'd by SOLGW.
