The family was out deer hunting this morning. We came back in a decided to go squirrel hunting for a hour or so to kill some time.
My wife, son and one of our dogs was with me. The wife, dog and I hunted together, the boy went in another direction.

The dog trees squirrels, but didn’t need to today, all the squirrels shot today were on the ground. I took the .22, the wife had the 20 gauge. If the dog trees them we use the shotgun, on the ground it’s a job for the .22. So I got to do the shooting today!

Only got 2 squirrels then we ate lunch, took a nap, and then back to deer hunting till dark. I then took a doe in the evening.
    Just about a perfect day!
