    Hello everyone,
I have some money available for guns and ammo after doing some overtime at work for several weeks and am revisiting an old idea I had for a new .308 rifle. I remember the RFB was an interesting gun, a compact bullpup shooting .308 and dumping the spent cases out the front. I saw some RFBs with 24" and 18" barrels on gunbroker and wanted to know what some of their owners think of the gun. I am leaning towards the 24" model since I will use it primarily for recreational shooting but maybe also for multigun matches in the future if I get comfortable shooting it. Any issues with reliability while using Pmags? Is it a pain in the butt to disassemble for cleaning? Could it shoot 200 rounds with a drop into the dirt halfway through without jamming? Any other features to think about?
    thanks.

    A couple points:
    1. The 18" RFB doesn't make OAL in MD. You will need to buy the 24" version, or perma-pin a suitable muzzle device.
    2. The RFB doesn't take SR-25-style magazines (what I assume you are callling "pmags"). It takes FAL magazines.

Once you dial the gas in (which is basically a FAL-style gas adjust system), it runs fine. Disassembly is trickier than an AR-15, but not difficult in an absolute sense.

Thanks for the input. I forgot about the magazines were metric FAL and had Pmags in my brain when I wrote this. I'm going to see if I can get one at a decent price on gunbroker.
