Today Home Depot just cut the 1/4” Surge impact driver by $30, down to $120

I moved it up to setting 2 and it zipped those bolts right out! Took out a few lug nuts no problem as well. I just did my wheel bearings so I’d be curious if it would remove the axle nut at 173 ft/lbs, but I’ll bet it would easily. Pretty happy with this thing. It’s also smaller than I was expecting which is nice. Will be easy to get into tight spaces.
The low setting is good for zipping nuts off after you break them loose, or snugging them down before you torque them.

I was thinking it’s probably for “hand snugging” nuts prior to putting the torque wrench on them.

Only if you have M12 tools. Otherwise, it just seems like a waste.

All of my tools are M18 FUEL and I keep wishing they made a simultaneous multi-battery charger for my batteries. The 6-pack M18 charger is sequential, which is okay, but not as cool.
