Forest reloads, so his costs won't be really indicative or what 6.8 runs for factory ammo.

    That's it.

Factory ammo runs from just under $1 a round to over $1 a round. I'm waiting to see what the Tula ammo will cost (it's supposed to be released later this year).

As for reloading, I get over 250 rounds per pound of powder, and SSA brass is good for 10+ reloadings.

My practice loads ran me around $.43/round with new brass (when I bought it new several years ago). My current precision loads run about $0.70 with new brass, though I'm looking at a new bullet that will cost me about $1.00 to reload with new brass.

They aren't much, but here are two of my daughter's guns. They always go bang and have never failed us.

Marlin/Glenfield Model 60. The enormous scope has been replaced with a more low profile one since this pic was taken.

    Sears Model 200 12 gauge from about 1972-1975. It's a rebadged Winchester 1200

I guess I"ve ben lucky. The only firearm I own that has ever had a FFF or FTE is my FAL. And I really can't blame the rifle, since it was short-cycling due to me adjusting the gas system in the wrong direction. :o

But If I had to pick one, it would be my either Saiga SGL21, or Sig 556 since they have the most rounds through them. The Sig is now sporting an Aimpoint Micro, but I don't have a current pic. Ignore the foot. :)

Here's mine. An old A-bolt chamberd in .243. It has a threaded BOSS muzzle break, so I call it my "Screwtop.243". Deadliest, most accurate thing I own, hands down (for now anyway):

This bag contains the 4 firearms I shoot the most. The one on the left now wears a DMS instead of the SPARC, and the one on the right still has the SPARC (I've tried to kill the sparc and so far I haven't had to put my T1 back on).

The 930 cycles crappy birdshot just fine too. Both AR's are fed a diet of 80% steel cased. The AR on the right now has a round count over 10K. The one on the left is close to 7K. The 930SPX has a few thousand rounds through it now, mostly birshot, but over 300 rounds of 00 buck.

That G17 has lord knows how many rounds through it. I bought it used (LEO trade in) and carried it for years when I worked at the gun shop. I've personally put over 10k through it.

All but two of my guns match that description. One because I haven't fired it yet, and the other because I put it together and it needs to be fixed.
