E-mailed Mossberg about my 500, as I was curious as to its age. I had guesstimated it to be a 1971......

Well, 24 hours later(!) I get a response from Santa Hernandez at Mossberg. I had heard that Mossberg was kinda slow, and the last time I e-mailed them, it took a week or so to hear back.

My beautiful Mossberg 500AB was born on August 6, 1971!

Can't help but gloat that I guessed right!
