IIRC that was a point made by one of the PA legislators. That the AG could enter into reciprocity agreements but not change them. Don't know what the outcome of that was. The PA AG has other legal problems right now so who knows what's gonna happen. But she went ahead and eliminated the UT NR permit holders from their reciprocity agreement. I'm not gonna volunteer to be atest case for the PA law though.

She cannot change the Texas reciprocity agreement as it is codified by statute vs a reciprocal agreement between AG's.

You can bet she would have done it if she could have.

I am getting one on my next trip to Oklahoma. Call around as there are all sorts of different prices for the course.

Here's the signed agreement from the PA AG web site. Doesn't appear to be a statute. Am I wrong?

absolutely true. I'd bet she's not too worried since it's an expensive proposition to obtain a TX CCW permit, what with travel and fees. etc. I think her beef may have been the ease of getting NR permits like VA, FL and UT that still allowed carry in PA by adjacent state residents.

The TX permit is $140 plus 60-90 bucks for a class plus 50 rounds of ammo. Not cheap. Then add in air fare and a hotel.

Her targets were the ban states, since that's what mostly surrounds PA and the ones most likely to get NR permits from states that don't suck.

Wrong she modified FL, VA and AZ which were all the same type of agreements.
