    Good afternooon. I have always loved guns and shot a lot when I was a kid. I have not messed with guns in a long, long time. I feel late to the party. I purchased a Glock 17 Gen4, as well as a PWS MK116 over the Summer. Picking up the MK116 from my FFL in Frederick tonight and getting the GLock later in September. Looking to get a Mosin soon. My Pops got one from Korea and I shot it a lot when I was younger. I have perused MDS and love the site. It is refreshing to see numerous others in MoCo that think like me.

    I inherited the house I grew up in, in the Aspen Hill area. In my entire block, there are only 8 English speaking households out of 26 homes. Little kids talk to me en espanol and they don't realize that I don't understand them. This is turning in to Quebec. My wife just returned from there and told me that they discriminate against English speakers. It is actually illegal to advertise in English in the stores.

    In the lower county, they don't even have a 2 on the phones. Many new Americans also have trouble calling 911 because they can't find the "11" on their phones.

    lol. awesome. Grew up in Takoma Park in the 70's then to Rockville- Twinbrook actually in the 80's, got married and moved to Germantown in 1989. Still here :( Every time I am up for parole to get outta here, I am denied. Damn mortgage and kid's college costs.

    I grew up in Germantown as well. It was a nice place to live back then and now it's a dump. Prior to leaving I had my house robbed twice. A year after l left my neighbor was shot In the head and killed in the neighborhood. I'm glad I left. Buy I should have just left the state

    Welcome from Mount Airy. Grew up in Olney, moved out here in in '92 and dread whenever I head back into MoCo for anything, I hardly recognize the place (or speak their languages)!
