So, regarding the HRA Garands...here's what's left:
    M1 Garand, HRA (Harrington & Richardson) $625
    Service Grade
Please allow 60-90 days for delivery
    or
M1 Garand, Service Grade HRA (Harrington & Richardson) Special. $950
    Allow 30-60 days for delivery.
HRA collector grade metal in excellent almost new condition. Walnut stocks and handguards and associated hardware are new manufacture. NOT original HRA manufacture.
    or
    M1 Garand, CMP Special (.30-06) $995
    Allow 30-60 days for delivery.
M1 Garand Springfield Armory receiver. This is a completely refurbished rifle consisting of an original M1 Garand Springfield receiver, new production Criterion barrel, new production American Walnut stock and handguards, and new web sling. Receiver and most other parts are refinished USGI, but some parts may be new manufacture.

I'm inclined to get USGI for $625 for the history rather than remanufactured. What say you guys?

I'd advise starting with what you really WANT. It's tempting to take your brand new C&R and spurge on guns you have no real interest in. I've had mine for over a decade...and don't have a Moisin. No interest for me, I'm a pistol shooter/collector.

Along that line, my top priority would be a Cz82. The day those run out, the price will double instantly. That seems to be true of C&R in general...if something comes in, the price will be low until the supply runs dry. Then it will jump at least 50%. You might want to divide your collection into Keepers and Investment Fodder. Don't get attached to the latter.
