    Alright,
I have this crossposted in the Jobs Board too, so....
So last week's storm that blew through here ripped a piece of the aluminum fasica/trim off our garage. I had the insurance people come out to take a look. Since I have a $1000 deductible, I have to pay out of pocket. Anyway, since the roof is still relatively new (two years) I thought I'd call up the roofing company first...cripes they want almost $600 to do it. Even the insurance company said it's like a $300 job. Anyway, any recommendations? Here's a pic of the damage...(excuse the "gloominess", my daughter was all too excited to take the pic immediately after the rain...)

Odds are in this market you're not going to get anyone to do it for a decent price. Siding places are slammed with work. I just had Southernwood replace the siding on my whole house and they were great to work with. However I would say your best bet for something this small is a handyman type place.

Yeah, they're the ones who put the roof on. They did a great job, but man almost $600 is hard to swallow. I may have to try the handyman route...

    Things to consider:
An hour to get there (maybe more maybe less)
    An hour to get home
An hour or 2 to get the supplies
An hour or 2 for 2 people to setup, do the work, and cleanup
    The cost of the supplies
The fuel to get there and back, and for the supplies
The cost of the estimate (time/do I have to drive out there?)
    Profit for the Biz

Personally I'd just do it myself.

You can’t get a couple of aluminum nails and “reinstall” the piece laying on the ground in the photo and use some sort of caulking to seal the seam?
Seems like a simple fix if you have a ladder that reaches the eave.
