    Short answer, yes.

    More details- the TC hawken .50 has a 1 in 48 twist rate, it's a compromise and not ideal for anything. Round balls like something in the 1 in 60 to 1 in 70 range, and the barrels you can get for shooting conical bullets have twists of 1 in 24. The rifle will work fine and be ok, but it will never be as accurate with any load as it could (without a barrel swap) because it was a compromise at the factory to be able to shoot both reasonably well.

    It will absolutely be minute of dead deer accurate.
