What the hell do I do with these? Glue doesn't work. Gluing to velcro pads doesn't work. What have people used in the past?

They usually come with some double sided foam tape and/or zip ties. Either of which usually work. Clean the spot where you use double sided tape with a degreaser or rubbing alcohol for better adhesion.

I think you should ask a mall ninja. They would know the best way.

Mall ninja here! Black peal and stick velcro on the switches themselves and electrical cable ties for the cords. Any place you use the stick on velcro, wipe the surfaces clean with rubbing alcohol first.
