I have a IZH 27 EM-1C 410 Baikal O/U with a 3" stamped barrel. The manual states that 2.75 and 3" shells are OK to use. The manual does not say anything about 2.5" shells and I was wondering if these are OK. Should be OK but who knows for sure?

The wife has a 2.5" Judge and I'd like to use the PDX1 Defender loads in the o/u as a contingency.

Thanks, EEA confirmed it was OK also. Pity they don't include in their manual.

I also suppose that it is ok to keep break open type side by sides and o/u's loaded w/o compromising the trigger springs for contingency purposes. This 410 is used primarily as a Copperhead elimination tool. :)
