I don't get the mystique. It's not like it's a rainbow tailed unicorn.

ETA *that would be a life size mount*

Definitely! And rig it so when you pull on the tail, it plays Amazing Horse, and the horn lights up, and Skittles drop out of its arse! :D

Notice I didn't mention lemonade dispensers or winky tugging, but that might be a nice touch. :innocent0

This one was hit on route 50. I’m guessing this morning.Same property other 2 came from in prior post. Pic was sent to me from my brother.
    Sure do miss those woods.

I have a long time customer who has shot several piebalds over the years. No bad luck. He had 1 really white 1 mounted. Then he shot another really white one, but he didn't want to keep spending to have full mounts done, so I had the hide tanned for him so he could drape it or hang it like a rug. As a cool bonus, the guy I let hunt my land had his lady come hunt this year, and her first deer was a piebald. I had no idea any were back there. The body markings are scant, but the feet are cool, some hooves are pink.

Another older farmer asked me to shoot ten deer last evening

Only 9 came out and now be was a piebald and another had spots

I let those two walk and I know damn well I will listen to a ration of shit for it this morning but a mans gotta have some rules he lives by

And I don’t need anymore bad luck

Another guy wants me this weekend for the same job but idk, just mowing them down like grass isn’t as much fun as it used to be. Or maybe I am just tired, I didn’t get much sleep

Definitely would. I don’t have luck so it can’t hurt what I don’t have.

Shot this one this season. My daughter saw it on a trail cam pic and said she wanted that hid.

Huh, never heard it was bad luck, so guess I'd have shot it if it walked out. Never seen one. If it looked young I'd probably let it walk tho.
Wouldn't head mount a doe but would definitely get something done

I'd shoot one. They look delicious, and the world is not short on whitetails. Not around here anyway.

Definitely shoot one, or more. They have to be adult-sized deer though, 100 lb field dressed +/- only. Bad luck schmad luck, that’s just stupid. Deer are food, not mystical beings.

I wouldn't shoot them for anything but food.

I was married to a ginger for 19 miserable years. I'll never touch another one. Gingers be crazy.

My son shot this one several years ago, it was youth day and it was his first time deer hunting. He Shot it out of a ground blind with me beside him. A day we will never forget. What a way to start deer hunting! The next year he said he was going to wait for a bigger albino, I said “buddy, you will probably never see another one again.”

    Good Morning to all,

No I would not, bad luck aside, most who live or have lived in deer country, myself included, consider having a live one around good Karma. Plenty of brown around to fill the freezer.

    Another Day in Paradise!
