...and this followed me home. As if I really needed another Marlin 60. :innocent0 I guess the tiger stripes are what hooked me. My bet is it'll shoot as well as the old 60 I've had for many many years. Kinda like Beagles, you can never have too many .22's.
    :)

I just bought one too. The stock on mine doesn't look as nice as yours. I ordered a black/gray laminated stock for it. Double check that your scope is on tight. Mine slide right off when I bumped it.

I would have walked out with that striped stock too

I dont know where Marlin (now Rem) sources there wood but there guns often have really good grain and patterns on base guns.

Damn, I like that striped stock. Wonder if it fits the older model 60's, mine's from the early '70's (I think - passed down to me.).

    How much and scope included?

$217 + tax for the rig in the pics. C&C after NICS.

I introduced the new Marlin to its older sister. They are the same, but very different. Improvements like the bolt hold open are nice. I didn't realize till I compared the two that the new rifle is almost a carbine length.

Time to hit the range tomorrow with some mini mags. :D

I'm interested to see how it shoots. I have an older model 60 but would like to pick up another. Just scared of the Remington horror stories with the lever guns washing over to the rimfire.
