$2 bills

I always like to pick some up when I'm at the bank when they are available, which has been hard to do lately as they're hard to find.

Just hit Cedar Point Federal Credit Union in Leonardtown and picked up $40 worth. Not that anybody else is interested but as of 9 o'clock this morning they had another thirty or forty two dollar bills there. Just a heads up.

Your bank can order larger amounts which I believe can be shipped to your door from the fed.

I am not all that interested in getting a three-dollar bill, be would like to get an official US$3 legal tender piece of currently. Unfortunately, they are rather pricey:

As a coin and history buff, I find it fascinating that the US used to have all kinds of coin demoninations that would be considered oddball today, such as 1/2 cents, 2 cents, 3 cents, half-dimes (before there were nickels), 20 cents, $2.50 (gold), $3 (gold), $4 (gold) . . .

Forget pokemon, I'd like to collect all of those instead, except that my bank account will not let me.

I just got 50 of them at Wells Fargo. They always seem to have some when I ask. I like the reaction from some people when you leave them as tip!
