scope mount issues

I bought a Burris PEPR one piece mount and a Falcon Menace 4-14x44 scope and the rings on the mount are too close together,hitting the edge of the turret housing. Can you put a small bevel on the inside edges of the scope rings to allow the scope to slide in?

Get different rings, you'll thank me in the long run.

Been thru that problem, new rings were the most cost-effective solution.

Drop the coin to get either the ADM or the LaRue.....just get the LaRue and call it a day. Worth every penny.

How big is the gap between the rings on the larue? The turret housing on my scope is 2.3 in. long.
