google is your friend, I am not.
I understand it was defunded not repealed

    results were the same

It was both defunded and repealed.

The requirement to send one in was actually repealed, and the database defunded. Technically, the funding was moved over to another line item in the budget so we did not "save" anything.

The requirement for 007ffl to provide was repealed.

Was Not defunded . The quid pro quo was to let MSP keep the money for slush fund.

The support for the equipment and database was defunded, the law and the requirement were still active and enforced until the legislature repealed the law.

I do not see that happening unless the SCOTUS says G&S is not allowed and or Frosh pile loses a case before them.. MGA will have to be dragged kicking and screaming along with some parts of MSP as well now that makes me wonder and go hmmm has anyone talked to the road patrol troopers about this off the record and found out where they stand on ccw with out needing G&S? The few MC PD officers and Park officers that I have talked to think the MGA are totally wrong and they should allow citizens to carry with some training and without the G&S BS.. They realize that an armed citizen just might save their life if TSHTF and backup was not their yet...

I know it is local to DC, but maryland and others can use this recent precedent to remove the "Good and Substantial" reason clause from their application... They could, if someone had the gonads in Annapolis to submit the bill...

Maryland COULD do a lot of things regarding carry of guns. They didn't, they won't, reasons have been discussed often in the past

Even if ordered to drop "Good & Substantial" by a Court, FROSH would use your Money to appeal to a Higher Court...

The game plan is Delay, Delay, Delay...

The only court left is SCOTUS, since Woollard was denied CERT.

Frosh can play games if that happens, but he does so at his peril.

I wonder who has the power to remove Frosh besides being voted out election year. Only other way he can be removed if he has been convicted by a court. Can Hogan removed him for failure to do as he was directed by Hogan to do in ref: the Vets Cross case before 4ca?
