I saw that Big 5 has them on sale this week ($249.99).
Just wondering has anyone had experience with them?
    (Good or Bad)
I saw a couple of videos on Youtube and most people like them but it looks like it's a bear to take apart to clean.

I think its just that. Good plinker. Bi+ch to take apart. Cheap to buy. Why? Its just looks like an AR. Better to buy a 10/22 or the Plinkster that's under the plastic. IMO of course.

I have the 702 Plinkster with a synthetic camo stock and I really like it. I've had more trouble with my 10/22 than I have had with it. I have a 2-4x scope on it that came with my Ruger Airhawk and this weekend I was making a beer can dance around the ground that I couldn't see with my naked eyes.

    I've heard the 715T isn't worth it.

so is it a ar as far as Maryland concerned ?

the reason to get one vs the M&P is that is not a ar and Cash and carry. im in Maryland and id like to get one for me and kids to have fun with but I don't really like regulated long guns.

If the upper doesn't come off the lower its not a ar platform yes ? but Maryland decides some weird stuff ?

The M&P is a cash and carry gun, and much better than the 715T. Still, 5 years later.

The non-pistol versions of the MP15-22 are cash and carry in md...

Bought one as my first rifle. Shot it once. Was just "ok". Sold it a month ago.

I've got one that I would sell because when I go to the range I always take something other than that. It's an ok gun, just that I like my other 22's better. The 715 just sits in the safe. Less than 50 rounds through it.
