    Hey guys,

I just picked up a CVA Optima V2 and now I need the scope.

    What are you guys using?

Also, can I use rifle, muzzleloader, and shotgun scope interchangeably? I've read a lot about it and have heard lots of different opinions.

Heck I have a Tasco on mine and its fine. Most my shots are under 50yds anyways.

Mine are too, but I took a deer at about 150yds with the shotgun last week and now I'm thinking I need something with better magnification.
Of course the length of this shot was the exception and not the standard but still.

Any shotgun rated scope will do. I use open sights on my BP rifles, so I can't give you an exact scope to recommend.

    Good Luck!

I have a Leatherwood ML scope I bought for $120 or so. Glass isn't the clearest in the world, but I find the distance graduations are quite accurate for my CVA Optima using 2 777 Magnum pellets and a T/C shockwave sabot. Took a deer at 175 with my setup no problem.
