Does anyone here know of a good company that services and repairs gas fireplaces? Specifically looking for someone who does work in Baltimore County.

I checked with Watson's, which is near me and they gave me the card of the company that does it's installations. I don't know them, so I thought I'd check here first for any recommendations.

I've been looking online for awhile, but I've gotten nothing but dead ends.
Thanks in advance for any leads you can give me.

I dunno if they go all the way out there but i use Steve the fireplace guy (google it that is the business name)

They literally just did a cleaning for me and fixed my thermocoupler. Part was expensive (180) but he didn’t charge me for labor cuz it’s super easy to install apparently. Gave me all new lava rocks for free too.

Call and email as they are kinda slow and probably pretty booked up but they do great work.

Usually those fans are just blowers underneath that can be unplugged and taken out. You can try to clean it and reinstall. If that doesn’t work..but a new one.

We’ve been using Tolbard in the Frederick area for the past 10 years. Have them come out every other year to do a deep cleaning and adjustment. May need to get new ODS or thermalcoupler soon. Seems to run and pilot goes out after about 45 min.

Thanks for the two suggested companies so far. When I checked their websites, they don't appear to service Baltimore County. Thanks though.

You're welcome. Good luck! It took me a while to find someone who would service my three propane fireplaces that are different manufacturers. Some places would only service the brand that they sold and nothing else.
