20 rnd boxes of Remington UMC .223 55 gr FMJ for 6.98 per box at Dick's

I know it's not internet pricing, but for those of you requiring a few boxes before the UPS man brings you your goodies, or if you have a range trip planned before ordering in bulk, it's not too bad of a price. Dick's in Hunt Valley has tons in stock, just came from there with 200 rnds. Of course I will still be violently awoken tonight to come to the realization that I need more ammo...

I would like to have 2,000 rounds for each weapon, and 4,000 rounds in .22 lr as a baseline. Of course, I don't think I will ever feel as though I have enough ammo until I get up and running on reloading. Being self-sufficient is a hell of a feeling!

I picked up a thousand rounds of the UMC .223 at Dicks on Sunday. All of their UMC was on sale so I also got 500 rds of .45ACP. And no, I still don't have enough.

about $18.50 or so per box of 50. Not a super price, but they had it in stock. 45ACP has not been the easiest round to find.

Actually this is good price for a brass case ammo. I will check Dick's GBurg tonight

The price of .223 is really falling. IIRC those were almost $10 at BassPro.

I am happy.

I went up to Dick's in Waldorf on Saturday the 12th and the prices for the UMC .223 were $9.98/box of 20. They said the sale was over with. I'm always a day late and a dollar short!
