    You may have broke the barrel loose from the extension.

    I ordered a 10.5" from Joebob http://www.joeboboutfitters.com/Rad...l_SBR_Upper_w_Se_p/rf-nobcg-mcsr-10.5-556.htm Is this the good melonite you speak of? It's on sale $249 Hardened arms had a 10.5 for less($214) (Joebob one was $299 when I ordered) but I said what the heck cause I'm starting out with a pistol but going SBR later.

    Plus the HA one did not say anything about barrel finish or lining.
