Trying to decide which of these to buy. I've shot the RWS Diana 34 but not the 48. I like the idea of the fixed barrel on the 48 but don't have any experience with it. I'm getting it for backyard bunny control around my garden.

The 48 is designed more for Target shooting, it weighs a pound heavier.

If you are interested in a 34 that has a Vortek kit and professionally tuned send me a PM. I've got one I'm selling. A tuned, Voretk'd rifle for less then a stock new one. In great shape.

I'm just down the road in Abingdon

    Where they send me.
I think I would go with the 34, and would take a hard look at the one Big Tin has (don't know him nor the weapon in question) since a tune can really bring out the best in them.
