Make it a raffle. One donated N95 mask gets you one entry.

How about a slightly used 3M N95 mask that I wore for only 20 minutes when sweeping out a dusty shed last fall?

Its been hanging on a hook in a clean, dry basement for 3-4 months, so any dormant virii therein are gauranteed to be common, everyday nusiances, not of the Corona 19 variety.

Maybe I should sell it on e-bay.

CTD did it to me personally in 2013. I ordered 1k of Wolf 7.62x39 for $199. The next day they cancelled my order due to being out of stock. A few hours later, the identical item was back in stock for $499.
They will never get another penny from me.

Yep, this is what gets people pissed off, not so much the price gouging but the order cancelling and almost immediately offering at a higher price. They are breaking an agreement between them and the consumer. Unethical.

The ability of people to remain butthurt over ammo prices during a near decade old panic is amazing.

To sell at a higher price is one thing, But to cancel orders to sell at higher prices is a different thing all together. That is why I wont buy from CTD.

I don't agree with them with raising the price but it is capitalism and if you're stupid enough to pay it then that's your problem. If they are canceling orders just so they can jack up the price, that is some ******** but I think it would be difficult to prove. I don't really buy
anything from CTD so I guess this doesn't effect me much.

    Where they send me.
If one is dumb enough to give them their money then let the fools reap the "rewards".

Burned me long ago along with Optics Planet and Botach. If their lead guy showed up at my house with a case of GOOD scotch, 6 turbo hotties, and a tuck load of ammo I may, may think about opening my door to them but in the end likely would not as I think they would steal my home and all that is in it before the end of the visit.

Some businesses are simply bad, and those 3 are on my short list.

That's a crappy business practice. HONOR the agreements you entered into.

This is what did it for me. Charge whatever you want, but when you break sales agreements so you can charge more... CTD needs a wafflestomping down the shower drain.

Totally legitimate. Honor the agreements you previously entered into. Do whatever you want to with prices for new agreements going forward.

Yep, this is what gets people pissed off, not so much the price gouging but the order cancelling and almost immediately offering at a higher price. They are breaking an agreement between them and the consumer. Unethical.

A key distinction. Raising prices for future purchasers is simply responding to market forces. Cancelling preexisting agreements to resell that inventory at the new market price is the problem.

All this, in particular the fine distinctions, needs to be repeated.

I order 2k rounds of 7.62x39 on 3/15 for 225.87 a case, and on 3/16 They sold out. Them they listed more for 375 a case (same ammo). I got my order today. This is the kind of company that I will buy from (Bulckammo.com) not CTD.

I’m a dyed in the wool capitalist but CTD screwed a lot of people during the last panics and it appears they are up to the SOS. When they pulled it before I elected not to patronize them again. As a business they have the right to do what they think is necessary but I have the right to spend my money as I see fit. It is the same as I spend at Dick’s. $0.00.

CTD are dicks due to their price gouging history and have been dead to me since the last ammo shortage. Dick's are just dicks due to their insane anti gun policies. If Dick's were the last place on earth, I would consider shopping there as a last resort. CTD, nope.

You don't readily forget being raped.

You generally don't go back and ask for more, either.

If it's someone's pleasure to explore that kind of commercial relationship, it's their problem.

Having CTD cancel a case of ammo you ordered and resell it for a higher price is comparable to rape? Did someone hijack your account?

If the reverse happened and the price of ammo suddenly collapse and it could be purchased 50% cheaper elsewhere, everyone bitching would cancel their orders in about 2 seconds.

And if the merchants terms of service say a customer can cancel their order, that's fair. I don't recall seeing anything in their terms of service saying they reserve the right to cancel a customer's order at any time.

Not as egregious as CTD, but BCM has upped the prices on upper receiver groups and their BCG. The BCG went from $169 to $189; the uppers are like $25 - 30 more.
