I thought he just did AR15 work
I never saw anything on his Instagram or Facebook on AR10 work

According to him, he doesn’t do AR10 work. You could still check with him though.

I made sure everything was compatible since there is no real standards with the lr308 and ar10 platforms like there is with the ar15 's

I bought a complete upper for a pretty good price and ended up having to buy an Aero Precision stripped upper and transfer everything over. Still made out OK

I bought an Aero upper and handguard, Faxon barrel, bolt, gas block and gas tube and a Surefire Warcomp.
I could not find a complete Aero upper in the configuration I wanted.

Chad does not work on AR10 platform. He was the first person I looked at for the work.

Assembly should be similar to AR15, hardest part is getting Gasport aligned. Then getting it tuned. If my shop did not look like a bomb went off, I would offer to help since I am in edgewood.

    How about Scotts's Gunsmithing?
Has anyone had AR10 work done by Jack's Gun Works?

I don't advertise working on large frame AR's because they are often a mess and owners don't listen to my parts suggestions, then get mad when things don't work.

I will say that you need to be very careful about who you choose. Someone worth their salt should know about specific parts of a large frame AR.

They should have the proper headspace gauges, large frame Midwest URR or similar device to prevent index pin damage, and know about proper carrier travel.

You will have much better luck if you install a tubb .308 Flatwire springs, and SLR Adjustable Gas Block. JP Bolts (Not the carriers) are a good choice as well.
