York Gun Show 2/23/20-2/24/20??

Hey,

Has anyone heard anything about the York show this weekend? I hope its still on. I haven't been able to find anything out about it but was planning on going. Hope its on and hope its good.

There are billboards for it along I-83 in PA

They were still up on Sunday

So I assume the show is a go

Show is on this weekend at the Fairgrounds.

Might do this one Sunday. I have never been to this one but if I decide to go it would make 5 weekends in a row at a gun show.

How does doing this work if I should find a pistol I want to buy from another dealer? Do I pay him and tell you?

Do I start the Maryland application at the show or do I have to make two trips up to Woodbiner?

If you find something you want, come get me and I will go with you to the dealer to get it. We can work the rest out. I'm in the hall to the right when you come in, about middle of the hall towards the outside wall. Look for the yellow SCSG banner.

Warning about South Carroll! They'll lure you in with quality merchandise, good prices & friendly people, then, WHAM! All of a sudden you're leaving with a skinnier wallet, a big grin, & a rifle or two that you didn't know you had to have.

It was almost too crowded to even browse effectively!! There must be an election or something coming up.

I guess it was a good thing I didn't go in with a list

Before anyone asks, yes... LOTS of reloading supplies and powder available.

I just returned from the show. I was only looking for a CMMG Banshee 300 9mm and could find none. I found a few Scorpions but I didn't like the width of the front end with the 1913 rails and covers would have made it worse. No one had what I was looking for.

I got there at 0930 expecting the line to be gone. WRONG! The line was down and around the building still and it progresses SLOWLY. It took about 20-25 minutes to get inside. :eek:

I decided to take a lighter jacket today as I figured I would go right in. :banghead:

Didn't buy anything but there were a few good deals to be had. Left there and headed to Family Farm for lunch.

THANKS to everyone who recommended this place. The food is great, it is clean and very accessible for someone in a wheelchair. :party29:

We ended our day stopping by Tyler's and I had Chuck order me a Banshee. :thumbsup:

The only downside I saw with this show is the mag dealers are gouging big time. Buyer beware.

Just came back. Picked up a sonic cleaner for $20 and some reloading supplies. Was a good turnout
