Final decision on Lowers

I am trying to figure out what is the final decision on Lowers that are not transferred from an FFL prior to 10/1?

Will they be in the same category as an AR15 with a PO prior to 10/1?

Will one need to get the HQL to take possession?

Will they fall into the banned category that would make them illegal to transfer within the communist state of MD?

I did search and did not find a definitive answer? I was just hoping for a quick clarification.

Lowers will be treated like "assault weapons" and will be banned.

I realize they will be banned. I believe the FFL's submit the paper work to the MSP as "other" being that it is not a complete long gun. I am just trying to find out if I will have to take possession of my lowers from my FFL prior 10/1 or if I will have to get the HQL to take them after 10/1 or will the PO be OK to take possession after 10/1?

The best guess is no as it is not a hand gun. Its has been asked and answered but certainty is beyond our power until a court rules.

Thanks Brooklyn! So basically there is not a definitve decision as of yet? I guess I'll just keep my fingers crossed that I will get them prior to 10/1!
