Maryland Legal LWRC DI Competition Model?

Does anyone know if this rifle is Maryland legal? If so, do any industry partners have good prices on these? Id rather buy local than go on Gunbroker.

https://www.lwrci.com/p-5303-ic-di-competition-556.aspx

Thanks!

Their fluted barrel is typically MD compliant.

Maybe I'm missing it... Maybe I don't get MD law.

What is it about the barrel that makes this model MD compliant? Or is there info elsewhere that makes thus known? Looking at their spec sheet, there's nothing regarding barrel profile...

Youd have to ask LWRC. The barrel must be advertised/sold as an HBAR or marked as such.

It has to advertised as an hbar. The outside diameter is. Then it is fluted. I would say it would be MD legal.

Diameter has nothing to do with it.
According to MSP, advertised or stamped

I see LWRC DI for sale at several IPs. I'd check with an IP here and see. This is not a model I see in stock typically, so you will probably have to order it either way. Maybe a MD compliant version can be ordered (which would also come with 10 rnd mag).

Those HBAR/Fluted LWRC guns are sold inside Maryland's borders. You can't get a Knight's Armament standard drop-in rail (as furnish on Colts) around one.

From my general brief knowledge, aside from LWRC being an MD manufacturer, all of their barrels are marketed as 'heavy' per their site.

YES!

All LWRC models have a standard (heavy barrel) and are available in various barrel lengths.
