Increasing costs are also due to recent spike in Oil

Shipping costs are astronomical these days and only going to get worse.

Didn't the Border Patrol just sign a contract with Winchester for several hundred million rounds of ammo over the next couple years? I wonder if this would have any effect on prices...
I sure am glad I got most of my ammo 3 years ago when it was much cheaper!

Where can you find the Federal 9mm boxes? I live in Pikesville.

I always see the Winchester 100rd white box but the price has been raised from 19 to 23 something.

Last night the walmart on route 43 had about 6 boxes of the federal 9mm. they had probably 50 boxes of the new brand they have been carrying -R&W? , and a couple of the winchester white box. they even had 3 boxes of the federal 550 round .22lr bulk pack. it is now 18.47 - went up 3 dollars.

Been seeing it too and I'm glad I got the Dillion 550 back before the election. n' lots of primers, n' powder, n' bullets...

If I could get those dents out of the .22LR rims I'd reload those too. Just kidding, or maybe not, if the price keeps going up on those too. Was pissed to see the Federal Bulk 550 packs at Wal-Mart went to $18.97 recently. They just went to $15something from $13.47 not that long ago. WTH?

Is it the brass or lead pricing, demand, or greed?

I nearly fainted when I saw the Dulles Wal-Mart trying to charge $19 a box for the 550 Federal bulk packs of .22LR. That's MORE than buying them individually in 50 round boxes at $1.47 each - and wouldn't you know it, they reinstituted the six box limit. :(

I noted the WWB 100-ct 9mm rounds up about $3, but the Federal 9mm and Remington 7mm MAG have remained the same. These are the rounds I have been monitoring/buying on a regular basis.

You picked up the boxes of .45! I was chatting with the gentleman the other day asking about the .45cal rounds, and if he ever receives any. He mentioned that the few he receives are gone the same day, usually within hours!

    Nice score!

Same thing at the Wal-Mart in Abingdon & Elkton, 18.97 / box for the Federal Bulk pack but at least it's on the shelf this year. Still can't find any .380 for my daughter's gun.

Wal-Mart in Severn, right off 97 got a shipment in. What they had yesterday: .40 Federal in both FMJ and HP. Also a lot of 9mm Federal, and some 9 and 40 WWB 100-ct boxes. Also plenty of rifle ammo. Also saw some 44
