    60% of homicides are a shot to the head, presumed to be execution
    Fatal shootings up 10% (from 20+ year low) but tied to gang wars
    Homicides still 2nd lowest in over 20years
    # of homicides about 3/4s what they were six years ago

    Non fatal shootings continue to drop
    # of non fatal shootings are about 56% of the amount from six years ago
    6% less than last year


    Need for more gun restrictions at this time????
