It's worn, but a Gen 1. Asking 500 but who knows what it'll go for with cash.

I know some people go bonkers over these old Glocks.

Gen1 market has definitely taken off. I have one of the first 1500 Glock 17 imported as well as a Gen1 17L with factory ported barrel. Downside is that they are safe queens.

I got one factory reconditioned back in 95 I think. I still use it. Didn't know it might be increasing in value.

I’m into Glocks more than I am ammo. My Pencil Barrel (Gen1 17) is worth about 3k. Brokering a deal now for 2 Gen1 19s for $20k, friend has one that he’s been offered $20k for. Sold a set of rear sights (referred to as weekend sights) for $175 recently. Owners manual goes for $300-$400 depending on the year, non captured recoil spring $150-$200. There’s definitely a collectors market.

Holy Shit. Glad I didn't chuck it when I bought a new one. Now, I just need to figure out where I put it.

These are the holy grail for collectors. I was offered them and could have easily flipped them for a profit but I’d rather put the money into ammo.

I believe there’s only a dozen or so Gen 1 19s in existence so it’s highly unusual that one guy has two of them. Austrian proof marks on the other side?

KS ABC, there’s about 16-20 out there. Know owners of 8 of them. Glock Talk has a pretty active Collectors sub forum.

Cool. A guy on ARFCOM bought one a few years ago for $7,500, I guess that was a pretty good purchase for him. He said that Glock plugged a 17 mold and chopped the grip at the factory to make them.

I know the guy, as I said it’s a small world. Hes active on GlockTalk as well. I have a friend that has a non KS ABC model, seems to only be about 3-4 of those floating around.

Interesting the box has Glock 17, but both are 19's.

    Look lovely.

    I have a Gen 1 G17 born in 1988

They blocked the front portion of the mold that made the 17 and literally cut off the bottom by hand to make the 19. This was when their only gun was the 17 and they made these 19s to test the market. They didn’t make many to begin with and when orders started coming in for the production 19s they took these back in trade and destroyed them.

I’ve got two agency marked Gen 1s. One is slide stamped with the agency the other is special serial number that is agency specific.

Obviously not as rare but i have a 19 that is FOP commermative from 88 or 89 but it’s LZ serial number so no proof marks

John I’m the one you reference in that glock talk thread. The lady in VA who was selling one on GB was drunk. I offered her $600 plus shipping and she told me to pound sand lol. I thought $600 was a more than fair
