I really hope the Virginia GOP all the best. They must do everything to win this election by holding control of the Senate and/or House. If those chambers go, Virginia will go total blue which means hello red flag law, high capacity mag ban, AWB ban, re-instatement of the 1-handgun a month law, removal of the Right To Work law, higher taxes, removal of the Voter ID law, sanctuary cities in Virginia, etc. It also means the Democrats will gerrymander the districts and hold control of Virginia for at least a decade.

At a minimum I do think the Virginia GOP can actually gain seats in the House and hold control. The Senate appears to be more of a challenge. That's all they need to do is control 1 chamber so they can block these crazy leftist bills from passing and becoming law in Virginia.

Just received this Dem fundraiser beg in my email, and confirmed it.

But no endorsement for ol' Shotgun Joe ... so sad that their relationship has ended up this way.

Just moments ago, President Obama announced that he's wading into next week's elections in a big way, endorsing more than a DOZEN amazing Democratic candidates for Virginia legislature!

The situation here on the lower shore, as observed by this "come-here" (Uncle Sam made me and I was just too lazy to leave...), is disgusting in one particular area: Lynnwood F'ing Lewis, vaunted "Son of the Shore"... Jesus H Christ, the locals, including REPUBLICAN locals, just go ahead and vote for the SOB BECAUSE he's a LOCAL. Fine. But in D.C. he's a demonRAT, just like the rest of them. I'm sure many of them voted for Northam as well. Couple that with all the local negros who will vote demonRAT, and we're mostly screwed.
I'm looking for land in TN... If I don't, my laziness will have landed me in a perma-blue state!

TN ain't to far behind in falling. Nashville is the fastest growing city in the country, and it's making the state bluer.

Liberalism is a disease that destroys all it touches.

Sadly Virginia is a victim of their own success. A great deal of concentrated wealth in NOVA is fueled by big government and IT/Tech business. It’s an uphill battle for republicans there. I fear it will get harder still as liberal baby boomers are choosing to retire in Culpepper, Orange and Spotsylvania counties.

This election, like the ones in the last 10 years, have seen a lot of money coming from Bloomberg, Soros, and wealthy liberal Democrat supporters. They are the source of most of the money, not local businesses.

The fact is that lots of liberally minded folks are moving into northern and now North Central VA. If it weren’t the case those out of state dollars would be flowing in at the rate they are.

Well, I just printed off and went through the sample ballot for my district. Its disheartening that the senate seat is unchallenged. That's 1 in the bag for the Dem machine before we even vote!

I feel sick for my neighbors in VA. Many of my friends escaped MD and now may have it worse if the socialists win.

We will definitely have it worse if they get control of the house and senate. I feel sick when I hear that my fellow gun owners in this state have no idea this is happening. :mad54:

With all the preelection campaigning, including tv, mass mailings, walk around door knockers, it’s amazing that there are still people ignorant of whats really at stake. My BIL and his family live in Richmond and he has been urging all his neighbors and friends to make sure they all vote. Fingers crossed for tomorrow’s circus.

Yup, same here. I wonder how “the nations gun show” is going to look after all assault weapons ban and 10 round magazines.

I just don’t understand these goofballs, and why they ruin everything.

I have many customers and friends who do not seem to really grasp how close they are to seeing severe restrictions on their 2a rights. They honestly do not believe it can happen to then. I just asked someone today and if they were ready for VA to become Maryland. I got “Na, I’m not worried”. I said the republicans barely held the house in the last election. He said “even if the democrats win those democrats aren’t like Maryland democrats”. He’s a good customer, and a farmer. He hunts, shoots a lot and has plenty modern sporting rifles, NFA items, night vision, ect. I was polite but I’m a little surprised.

If the reject party wins those two seats tomorrow, sounds to me like Virginia’s gonna have a statewide gun run, just like Maryland did in 2013. I hope for y’all that it isn’t the case.

It’s so hard for me to believe that the Virginia senate and governorship are just a lost cause to conservatives now. Clinging to the house by 2 seats , I never thought I’d see the day.

I wonder if he is a Democrat. That explains the comments from him.

He’s a guy in is early 30’s and I get the feeling he’s not very interested in politics. Sadly he might be more interested tomorrow, but that could be too late.

Other people I know are customers are concerned. I don’t know if all of the, are 2A supporters, but don’t seem concerned enough to really do anything.

I have one friend from Maryland who is a staunch republican, 2A supporter and Trump supporter. He actually went with a republican campaigning organization and knocking on doors in Prince William county. Someone actually spit on him.

I really hope I’m pleasantly surprised tomorrow.

He should’ve had that person who spit on him arrested.
