Notes a lack of computer security and access controls allowing unauthorized users access to the dsp network, with no way to track who has accessed it. Section 9
It also notes:
quote
" Maryland Automated Firearms Services System (MAFSS) is the official record of regulated firearms, including handguns, in the State, and records firearms information and data from the registration applications. MAFSS is also used for a variety of law enforcement purposes, such as to assist in investigating crimes. The Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services is responsible for the maintenance and security of MAFSS. According to MAFSS,* as of May 12, 2015, there were approximately 1.1 million regulated firearms registered to approximately 700,000 individuals in Maryland."

Were any of these 1.1 million regulated firearms records accessed by DPSCS employees working for, or being strong armed by, members of the Black Guerrilla Family BGF gang? A gang that thrives on the illegal gun and drug trade should have been interested in these records. Are the 700,000 regulated firearms owners and their families in Maryland at risk? Is there any way to prove or disprove access to these records given the lack of security measures on these databases?
