Hey man, you better stop playing with that bow and start putting plywood on those windows. Florence just became a Cat 4. (nice shot BTW)

    Thanks!
Yeah they say it could go to a five upon landfall. I’m centrally located in the state so I will get some bad storms but not clobbered like the beaches. Got a Zac Brown concert Thursday outdoors. Should be interesting lol

Be safe OP and good luck weathering the storm.

Question: How do you maintain consistent anchor with this technique? Do you get lateral stringing of shot or catch yourself string chasing?

I just feel it. That’s not a good description but that’s what I got. I feel it in my back and shoulder blades when I’m at full draw. Then I gap shoot on the tip. I get good hits. A lot of it has become instinctual or “by feel” as I’ve progressed in my form.

    Dang, that's some nice shooting!

And that bow looks beautiful, I love the styling of the Chinese bows. If I can ever find time/$$ to get into archery, that would be a way to go. My Izaak Walton league does have an archery range open almost any time...

60 meter result. 2 out of 6. It was my first time shooting this distance and was happy with my hits. Just wish my ratio was higher. Bear in mind. This style of shooting is 100% instinctual

    *EDIT*
Looks like a third hit in the bottom left corner, I didn't recall that one. Let's just ignore him, he ruins the group!

so, were you able to try that out last deer season?

and if you make it to georgia, there are a number of places to hog hunt, year round. some free. didn't look like you were too far from ft stewart.

and some state places. i guess the biggest thing is the license. and i think they have a 3 days, tag, non-big game. even for out of state, it isn't crazy expensive last time i checked.

***edit, with all those other guys shooting, it could be a fun group hunt.

They really are a work of art. They are so light its unbelievable
