Does the 150 yds from neighbors apply to dispatching pests? If neighbors are that far away, think a 20 or 410 would be good. If land is big enough, what about a pair of geese? I think they will keep the coons away.

150 still applies as far as I know, but my neighbors aren't commie bastards, so I'm GTG.
Geese can be deterrents, but they have poor eyesight at night, and....they're geese. They are as loud as a gunshot! We've had them in the past.
