  • It'll never see civillian hands. It's a Post-86 machinegun AND a Destructive Device AND a SBS. Even an 18" semiauto version probably wouldn't pass muster with ATF.

Definetly one of the most frightening things you could ever encounter at 50 yards or less. Between a beltfed, a claymore and the AA12, I honestly can't say which would be more gruesome at 50 yards.

In the last few years a number of AR look-alike semi auto shotguns have hit the market. I wonder if any of them would take an echo trigger. Asking for a friend.

Most likely not. Most 12G AR look-alikes that I have pawed: are plastic, except for the barrel.

We've had a few full auto .410 "shotguns" at our MD Thompson Collectors Association shoots. Basically an AR410 upper dropped on an M16 lower. They are more or less a novelty. And also ammo sensitive, especially with the length of the shells. It had to be less than 2.25" long.

I've shot thousands of rounds through an AA-12..... on Call of Duty.

Some cool guns out there. I followed the site for the semi variant. I did not see a price? Anyone?

Thinking an AR15 style would be cheaper

To be honest, I kinda have a thing for the ATI .410 AR style shotgun. I really enjoy shooting .410, and I enjoy the ergonomics of the AR. I already have an AR15 rifle, and I have read/watched the reviews, which are mixed. Many problems are in relation to the shell length, magazines, and extraction when the empty hull flares out. ATI does have a lifetime warranty, and the metal infused poly lowers so far, have seemed to run ok. That said, I would probably get a spare lower or just a stripped lower as a precaution. I do have an ulterior motive, but mainly the thing is a curiosity to me.

I'm a HUGE fan of Russian shotguns like the S-12 and VEPR. They cycle fast and you could feasibly shoot them as fast as the AA12 was going on FA, and probably more accurately. The existing drums are just massive though, someone really needs to develop a snail style magazine to reduce the footprint of it.

The giggle switch is awesome but I don't see much utility for it in a shotgun.

    Needs a belt feed.

19th century waterfowl market-hunters would’ve sold their wives for something like that, LOLz. Sure would beat a muzzle loading 2-bore single shot for the number of birds you could bring to market.

And, if they’d had something like that back then, maybe Canada Geese would be extinct now!
