This case blew a primer and required a hammer to open the bolt on my K98.
This ammo is Berdan primed but I don't see the usual two flash holes.
It is unusual to see the a flash hole through the anvil.
Not all Berdan primed brass have two holes. I have run into a few over the years that only had one. Sorry but I don't recall the manufacturer or caliber as I found it back in the late eighties.
Glad it didn't cause damage to the rifle. What's the headstamp? Did you shoot this through another rifle? What's the packaging look like? How many of this type of ammo have you shot?
I think I have some Albania 8mm buried somewhere, just curious if it's of the same heritage.
