Anyone shooting an antique? I'm in the Baltimore area but willing to drive to find a reliable gunsmith to inspect/restore antique muzzleloaders. Not sure I want to shoot mine, but would sure love a professional opinion.

    Thanks

Don't restore it! Quickest way to destroy value.

Hoyt, or Charlie Hahn. Hahn is in Berlin, MD, IIRC.

Step #1 insert a ram rod and compare it with the length of the barrel to determine if there is a load in the gun.
